Franz Josef Glacier, the world's fastest-moving commercially guided glacier, is a dynamic marvel. With its ever-changing features, no two trips are alike. Picture yourself sliding through narrow crevasses, maneuvering between towering ice structures, or even squeezing through ice caves—maybe even all three if luck is on your side!

Your adventure kicks off and wraps up at the Glacier Base Building. Upon arrival, our friendly crew will get you checked in and geared up, providing pre-trip briefings to amp up the excitement.

From there, take a brief stroll to the helicopter pad, where your pilot will sweep you away over the jaw-dropping landscape—an opportunity to absorb the full panoramic grandeur of Kā Roimata o Hine Hukatere (Franz Josef Glacier). Touch down high on the main icefall, and your guide will help you gear up for the ultimate adventure.
