The iconic Maori Rock formations at Mine Bay have long been hailed as some of the most celebrated contemporary Maori artworks in New Zealand, attracting locals and visitors alike from all over the world.
Get away from the big crowds and enjoy an intimate cruise aboard our unique, pirate-themed vessel "Sail Fearless" led by local expert - Captain Dave, as we take a thrilling journey on Great Lake Taupo to discover this fascinating cultural landmark.
Prop up a bean bag or snuggle under some blankets and have your camera at the ready to capture some of the most breathtaking views around, taking in the popular Acacia Bay and Rangatira Point en route. If you're game, try your luck at giving the crew a hand hoisting the sails or even taking a turn at the wheel!
You will be in awe upon reaching the Maori Rock Carvings embedded in the towering cliff face looming 14 meters high above. Only viewable from the water, these dramatic works are some of the largest rock art of their kind in the world and will be sure to impress!
To top off the experience, you can cool off as we take a stop for a swimming break - the longest swim stop out of any company on the lake!

9.30am: Maori Rock Carving Scenic Cruise at our Early Bird Tour! Light Refreshments can be purchased from the cheapest bar on the lake or you can also bring your own light refreshments for your convenience.

Super Sailing sur le lac de Taupo, la capitaine est super sympas. Je recommande vivement cette sortie. Le must, le couché de soleil !

Experience agréable
Très bonne expérience, beau temps, beaux paysages, pizza et bières, le combat parfait. Seul bémol, pas de la faute de la compagnie, les nuages de moustiques.

La "croisière" à bord du Sail Fearless sur le lac Taupo est absolument à faire ! Vraiment top pour le prix et tout ce que cela inclus : pizza, bières, Maori Rock Carving sous tout les angles et pause nage pour ceux qui le souhaitent. Nous avons adoré, merci au capitaine pour sa gentillesse

Vraiment super !
Notre expérience a été excellente, nous avons réservé l'après midi! Nous avons eu une bière et de la pizza (livrées une minute avant notre départ en bateau et très bonne)! Le couple qui est responsable de la croisière est vraiment adorable ! Ils nous ont fait un peu d'histoire sur Taupo, nous sommes allés voir les sculptures et avons pu nous baigner ! C'etait top, je recommande à 100%! Bon rapport qualité prix
