Take to the skies and experience flying a plane on Megazone Silverdale's hottest new attraction - the 737 Flight Simulator! Loads of fun for all, aspiring pilots and anyone looking for a unique experience will love getting a taste of what flying is really like!

Choose from the two experiences below:

Auckland Flight Experience - 30 Mins

Fly a plane around the city of sails and take it all in from above with 30 minutes of fly time, taking off from Whenuapai Airport. Your route takes you past iconic landmarks including flying under the Harbor bridge and past the Sky Tower before climbing 3,000ft for your final landing at Auckland International Airport.

Auckland to Wellington Flight Experience - 2 Hours

Pilot the popular Auckland to Wellington flight route and get a taste of all the intricacies involved along the way! The simulator plane can be started in either a cold and dark state or turn around state (taken over from other pilots), after which you'll set everything up using realistic flight data, take off and control the plane until you reach 10,000ft. Once high enough, flick over to auto-pilot then enlist the help of your co-pilot to set up for landing in Wellington, including reading charts and setting the correct radio frequency. Then take on the infamous Wellington cross winds and land on Wellingtons runway!
